You can start a number of ways…
- - Some people walk in off the street, have a look around the gym and maybe watch a class if they have timed it right (see the schedule). You can do this anytime we are open.
- - Others call first and organise a time to run a complimentary introductory session. We will run you through what it is we do, and even put you through a mini workout if you like so you can test the water before diving in. It is OK to feel quite nervous about coming in for the first time, so bring a friend or two if you want to.
- - Then there is the ‘dive-right-in’ approach. Come a little earlier than the scheduled class if this is your style, so you can fill out the pre-exercise history information and we can see if we need to modify the WOD for you depending on your skills and fitness levels. Your first class is complimentary.
Following your first session, we can work out where to go from here.
You can learn the foundation movement skills ‘on-the-go’ in class as we are constantly drilling them, learning/unlearning/relearning them. However, to make the most of your training here we suggest you book yourself in to learn the skills and drills either is a class setting or private/semi-private setting.
Private and semi-private sessions

Class Format - Beginners Course
Our Beginners Course is a group class, running over 10 classes.
It is designed for the generally active, injury-free individual who wants to progress to training in one of our ongoing group CrossFit Classes.
Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.
If you are unsure as to whether you are a good candidate for beginning in a class setting, please contact us.
A new Beginners Course runs approximately every six weeks.
