The INTRO First

The only way to begin your training at CrossFit Wollongong is with an INTRO session. These are by appointment only - call us to schedule on (02) 4229 6462.

The INTRO session is a complementary one-on-one training session during which you'll get a chance to learn a lot more about our program and actually experience a CrossFit workout for yourself. It is by appointment only and is a prerequisite for taking a class.
The purpose of the INTRO is to help us serve you better by getting to know your goals and expectations, fitness level, and experience. After your INTRO, you can choose one of several membership options that give you access to our group fitness program and classes.

Following your first session, we can work out where to go from here. In most cases, we recommend that you undertake a Foundation Course prior to participating in CrossFit Group Classes.

Foundation Courses

We run Foundation Courses for beginners at regular intervals. These are a great way to learn the movement skills that are fundamental to the CrossFIt Method. During the course, you will learn the 9 Foundation Moves, explore the 10 domains of fitness and learn how to monitor your intensity so you get the best out of your CrossFit workouts. The Foundation Course also covers basic nutrition and recovery techniques.
Foundation Courses are offered in:

Class Format - 9 classes over three weeks.
This course is is designed for the generally active, injury-free individual who wants to progress to training in one of our ongoing group CrossFit Classes.
Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes.
If you are unsure as to whether you are a good candidate for beginning in a class setting, please contact us.
A new Beginners Course runs approximately every six weeks.

Private Coaching Format - 4 classes of approximately 1.5 hours.
Private Coaching format is particularly suitable if you:

  • - are new to exercise

  • - cannot make the scheduled classes

  • - feel you need or want private instruction

  • - you have specific sports performance goals

  • - you have significant health or orthopedic issues

  • Your coach will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at your pace.

Following your initial sessions you may then choose to continue with private training or progress into our CrossFit Class.

    Group Classes

These are the most popular way to workout. Most scheduled classes are open for all levels. See the schedule for details.

    Private and semi-private training sessions

For more personalised training you may opt for one-on-one or small group (<3) training. If you can't make a class and you want to work out with your friends at a mutually convenient time, this is a good option.
